The Rebel T3i / EOS 600D takes the highly capable T2i / EOS 550D camera and adds a new multi-angle LCD screen, plus a host of beginner-friendly features designed to make it easier for you to get better results. These include 'Basic +', that offers more user control in the automatic scene modes, a new 'Feature Guide' that gives brief on-screen explanations for camera functions, and an updated fully automatic mode that's now called 'Scene Intelligent Auto'. It also gains the ability to control external flashes wirelessly off-camera, and a very welcome larger, more comfortable handgrip.
The EOS 5D Mark II has a stunning 21.1‐megapixel full‐frame CMOS sensor with DIGIC 4 Image Processor, a vast ISO Range of 100‐6400 (expandable to ISO L: 50, H1: 12800 and H2: 25600), plus EOS technologies like Auto Lighting Optimizer and Peripheral Illumination Correction. It supports Live View shooting, Live View HD videos, and more.
The EOS 7D features an all‐new 18.0 Megapixel APS‐C size CMOS sensor and Dual DIGIC 4 Image processors, capturing tremendous images at up to ISO 12800 and speeds of up to 8 fps. The EOS 7D's Intelligent Viewfinder, an entirely newly‐designed technology, provides 100% coverage and displays user selected AF modes as well as a spot metering circle and on demand grid lines. The EOS 7D also captures Full HD video at 30p (29.97 fps), 24p (23.976 fps) and 25p with an array of manual controls, including manual exposure during movie shooting and ISO speed selection.
Fisheye lens with a 180 angle of view for unique and intriguing effects. The wide depth of field makes it even more interesting. The short minimum focusing distance of 20 cm (0.7 ft.) gives new meaning to close‐up shots. The lens has a fixed petal‐type hood and a gelatin filter holder in the rear.
With extended coverage to an ultra‐wide angle of 24mm, the 24‐70 f/2.8 lens is ideal for digital as well as film shooters. Two Aspherical elements and a UD glass element make for incredible optics in this standard zoom lens.
This easy‐to‐use standard zoom lens can cover a large zoom area ranging from 24mm wide‐ angle to 105mm portrait‐length telephoto, and its Image Stabilizer Technology steadies camera shake up to three stops. Constructed with one Super‐UD glass element and three aspherical lenses, this lens minimizes chromatic aberration and distortion.
Incorporating Canon's second generation Image Stabilization technology, this telephoto zoom responds in as little at 0.5 seconds, while providing up to three stops of correction for camera shake. Its AF system has been refined for better response time and tracking speed. And even the new 8‐blade circular aperture offers a more pleasing out‐of‐focus image.
The EF 85mm f/1.2L USM uses a high‐speed AF and circular aperture create a shallow depth‐of‐ field that brings attention to the subject and blurs the background, which is ideal for portraits and weddings. The floating optical system, which includes an aspherical lens element, suppresses aberrations and ensures excellent imaging performance.
Smaller and lighter than ever, the SPEEDLITE 580EX builds on the strengths of its predecessor by providing additional functions at higher speeds. It features a higher maximum guide number, shorter recycle time, auto‐zoom control for image sensor size, and design improvements for easier handling by digital SLR users.
This is the premier Speedlite for all photographers, including professionals. Newly designed to match with the EOS‐1D Mark III in terms of improved dust‐ and water‐resistance, body strength, and the ability to control flash functions and settings from the camera menu (EOS‐1D Mark III only). Other features include improved communication reliability through its direct contacts, and recycling time is both 20% shorter than the 580EX and is completely inaudible.
The Glidetrack HD came about in response to requests from owners of heavier camera setups looking to get that Glidetrack look in their shots. The HD model offers an identical length (40") of travel as the SD, however, it is made from a heavier gauge of extrusion and features a much heavier duty look and feel to it. It has wider feet to make it even more stable when used with depth of field adapters and camera setups featuring longer lenses i.e. Canon 5DMk2 or similar.
